About this course

Best for ages 11–14. Your character sprints forward automatically while you swipe between lanes, leap over obstacles, slide under barriers, and scoop up coins — faster and faster until you slip up. The hook is 'just one more run': that itch to beat your high score by a hair. You'll learn how games create an endless world out of a few repeating pieces.

Every lesson is hands-on and explained plainly. By the end you'll have a fast, replayable runner with coins, increasing speed, a high-score board, and a tap-to-run-again loop.

The Magic of the Endless Run

Find out why runners feel endless even though the world is tiny and repeats. You'll plan your runner's theme — rooftops, jungle, candy land, your call.

02

Three Lanes and a Runner

Set up three lanes and drop your character into the middle one. You'll learn how the *world* moves toward the player, not the other way around — the runner's clever trick.

03

Switching Lanes

Swipe or press arrows to hop between lanes smoothly. You'll make the movement snappy and satisfying so it feels great on the very first try.

04

Jumping and Sliding

Add a jump to clear obstacles and a slide to duck under them, with timing that feels fair. Mistimed moves should feel like *your* fault, not the game's.

05

Spawning Obstacles

Make obstacles appear ahead and rush toward the player. You'll learn to recycle the same few objects over and over so the game never slows down.

06

Collecting Coins

Sprinkle coins in the lanes for players to grab, with a happy *ding* and a counter. Coins guide players into risky-but-rewarding paths.

Crash! Collisions and Game Over
